Quick update

Ok so I know it has been a LONG time since I updated. ALOT has happened since then. 1st off our new little boy is here. Kypton Thomas arrived by emergency C-section on June 8. It was a very emotional and crazy 1st week of his life. He is now home and doing great. I will post soon about everything we have gone through in his short little 4 weeks of life. For now I want to leave u with some photos of my family of 4 now and of our new addition.

Doc apt from last week!!

Ok so I did not get my doc apt post done last week but here is what happened at last apt.

I was 30 weeks still measuring a little bigger. Got a LONG Boy!! Still only gained 2 lbs whole pregnancy. My blood pressure was high 170/92 so she wants me back once a week to watch it. So looks like I go back again Wednesday.

Ok So I know it has been a while since I updated but Im gonna try and keep my blog up at least til the baby gets here. 1st off I will tell everyone we are having another little boy!!! Kypton Thomas!! Im so excited and ready for him to get here. This has not been an easy pregnancy for me. I am not one that complains alot but it seems that every time I turn around it has been something. 1st thing I got the flu then I got dehydrated. Not long after that I made a trip to ER thinking I was in early labor or either I had kidney stones. Well turns out I did have kidney stones. I have layed everything down but water. No sweet tea, no DrPepper, no coffee, no milk, or ice cream. I have never been in so much pain before in my life. One night I had a round of the stones moving and it lasted from 4:30 pm one Friday until 7:00 am Saturday and I did not sleep ALL night long. It was awful. My nurse did tell me and my husband that I was one strong grl and that she see alot of young grls call with every little pain and that my were really cause for concerns. I worried about being a pest and bothering them bc I am not one to complain alot but she assured me I was fine and that it did not bother her. I have a wonderful doc and nurse. Ok back to Kypton. lol I am 31 weeks and last Monday we had an ultra sound and he is measuring 3lbs 13 oz and his femur is measuring for a 33 wk fetus. LONG boy!! My son Connor was 22 inch long so I know Kypton is going to be tall too. I have only gained 2 lbs this pregnancy and that is good. When I go to doc Wednesday we will be setting a date for the c-section. I am excited. I just have a feeling it is going to seem crazy when we set a date. Knowing I will have my other little boy and my family will forever be changed by that date. I can not wait to meet him and see just whom he looks like. I am also ready for his big brother to meet him and see how they act together. Ok that's all for now I will update after my doc apt on Wednesday!!

Plans do change

Ok so our plans were to go Feb 2nd for my next appointment and find out that day what the baby was but this baby has plans of its own. I woke up Sunday morning with some brown discharge spotting like and so I called my doc yesterday to see what she thought I needed to do. She told me to come in and they would check my urine and listen to heartbeat just to be safe. Well she checked and I did not have an infection but when the nurse went to listen to heartbeat she could not find it. So she told me sometimes doctor can find it better. By this time I am a nervous wreck and about in tears. Doc comes in and can not find it either she told me she could not tell its heartbeat from mine bc mine was beating so hard. I was so scared. She said lets just go look at baby. So she took me in for an ultrasound and baby was there just moving around and heart beating fine. She did notice that my placenta was trying to attach to my cervix so she is sending me for a more in dep ultrasound at the hospital today and she said they can prolly tell what we are having there. So looks like we will know if we are having another little boy or a little girl. I cant wait to find out and I just hope everything turns out fine with the ultrasound. I did not sleep much at all last night. This is such a nerve wracking thing. I am so ready to have this baby here and in my arms.

Doc Apt from last week

Ok so I am sorry I am just getting to posting about my doc apt last week it has been a little busy around here. Doc apt went really good I gained 1lb from last time so I am still at a -7, but she says that is just fine. We listened to heart beat and it sounded perfect at 174. I can't remember what Connors was. Opps I know bad mom I should have wrote it down. Oh well. We scheduled our next apt (20 weeks) for Feb 2nd and we also scheduled the ultrasound to find out the sex for the same date. I am SOOOOOO excited. I just cant wait to find out. I am ready to find out and have a named picked out for sure. We have thrown around so many names and family members have put there ideas in so I am just ready to say this is what the name is gonna be!! No more how about this name or how about this one. It is kinda making me crazy! lol

2011 Snow

Well Connor has been waiting ALL weekend for the snow and today it finally came. He was SOOOO excited. He has wanted to be outside in it all day. My dad has also been excited about it. He has rigged up all the golf carts he had to go in the snow better. Im so glad we got some snow for both of their sakes because I can tell ya if we didnt they would be two little sad boys. lol

Ok so I know I say it all the time but this time I am really going to get back to blogging. I have decided to change my blog from my photography blog to our family blog. I would like to keep up with the funny things Connor does and also with things happening with the bun in the oven.

Ok 1st off I am 16 weeks and I have a doct appointment tomorrow. I am ready to go back and hear the heart beat and have her tell me everything looks good. Sometimes it is hard going month by month not knowing that everything is fine. I have felt a few flutters here and there but once he/she is moving all the time it makes it a lot easier to know everything is fine. I have been having some rough leg cramps and yesterday my back started hurting pretty bad. I also do not sleep good and I think that might be why my back was hurting so bad yesterday bc I prolly slept so wrong. We should go 1st of February and find out if we are having a little girl or another little boy. Either way I just hope it is healthy.

Well Connor man went back to school today!! YAY!! lol He was excited because he said he missed his friends. Time for us to get back in a routine.

Pregnancy Highlights: 11 Weeks

How Far Along: 11 1/2 Weeks

Size of baby: 4.15 cm

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost 8 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Some pants bc I am so Bloated!

Gender: Unsure

Movement: Not yet!

What I miss: having some energy.

Sleep: Not been sleeping good. Been getting up to pee alot still.
Symptoms: Frequent potty breaks, back pain, heartburn, fatigue, and feeling pulling and tugging!
Best Moment This Week: Having ultrasound yesterday and seeing my baby moving and heart just a beating!
What I am looking forward to: Finding out what this new bundle of joy will be.

Doctor update

Ok so I went to the doctor yesterday and she changed my due date. I am 7 weeks instead of 9 weeks and new due date is June 21, 2010.

I also got to see a pict of my little sweet pea. Saw the heart beat! It is getting so real. I have not felt really good the past week so I lost 5 lbs but she was not worried about that. I go back Dec 1st and she will do another ultrasound then!! Ill post pict later today!

Rain finally!! We have not had rain in awhile and it has been raining all day!! Much much needed rain!
Well it's halloween week Connor has 2 school parties and then a fall festival sat and sunday I don't know If I will ever get caught up with photos and my house! Oh well part of our life and it is only going to get crazier!!

Well im not feeling well tonight so I think I'm calling it a night!

I'm just gonna cut to the chase!!

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!!!!

Yes it is true!! I cant believe it myself. We have one little boy Connor he is 4 years old. We have tried for many years since he was born to have another baby and things just were not happening. Well I went to my doc about 2 years ago to find out why my periods were not regular and what was wrong with me. Well that is when she told me I had PCOS. I did not ovulate and that more than likely we would have to use medication in order to have another baby. She told me we would prolly start off by taking a pill called Clomid. Well at that time we were not quite financially ready to pay for the pills and whatever else came our way. So we decide to wait. Heart broken I was. I have longed for awhile now for another baby. For a sibling and friend for my little boy. He even said so many times how he wanted a baby sister. Yeah that's what he says a sister. He even said he wants to name her Carley. When I was pregnant with him we thought for 7 1/2 months that he was a girl. The name we had chosen was Gracie Ann so I really have no idea where he came up with this name from. Well he is still saying he wants a baby sister and that he wants to name her Carley so I guess the name will be Carley Ann if it is a girl.
Oh back to my story. lol I went to the doc Monday for my yearly check up and me and my husband had already decided that we were going to talk to the doc and tell her we think we are ready to start trying the pills and see if they work. So she preformed my exam then wrote me out a prescription and then told me she really needed to do a pregnancy test before I started the pills and low and behold, it came back positive!! We were already pregnant. I have prayed for many years for another baby and finally I started praying and telling God that I was turning it over to him and gonna let him handle it. That when he saw fit for us to have another one than it would happen. Well that was so much easier said than done. A lot of other things happened and I thought that was Gods way of telling me ok its time financially and emotionally. So I had already had my yearly exam scheduled and so we decided that would be the best time to talk to the doctor. Little did I know, God had already taken care of everything on his own. On my way home from doctor I look down and the script that she had just wrote me for the ovulation pills and I heard God tell me " I don't need your help I told you I had everything under control". I said ok so I am turning it all over to him. I pray for a healthy baby and a healthy pregnancy. Sometimes it is very hard to turn it all over to him completely. I still have a fear that when I go back to doc she tells me oops sorry I made a mistake. I would be heart broken, butI am going to trust that he takes care of it all. Any and all prayers throughout this would be greatly welcomed.

WHY do people feel the need to listen to loud music with all the windows down?? Why do they pull up to a place of business and get out and leave there windows down with the loud music going playing a song that every other word is a curse word or pull up to drop there kids off at school and do the same thing. WHY????? Just where are some peoples manners???

Ok so I have been trying to use my time in the afternoon wisely!! We have had some very pretty weather so me, the hubby, and my little boy have been outside trying to get my flower beds ready to plant and ready for the summer. I have been awful this winter letting them grow up with grass. Well I had my husband picking up all the grass I had pulled out of my flower bed and loading it into our mule when my son decided he wanted to drive. Before we knew it he had started it up and pushed the gas and backed right into my front porch. It happened SO fast!! I am glad he was not hurt but it just scares me bc it could have been alot worse than it was. The bad thing though was that me and Tommy were standing right there and there was nothing we could do.

He got in trouble for this because we have been telling him not to start the mule unless we were on there with him. I told him "Connor you could have gotten hurt really really bad." and he says to me "But momma I didnt"!! lol Kids kids kids!!!

I did a shoot Tuesday after I got off work for my cousins kids. Her little girl is going to be in the Hogskin Holidays pageant and she wanted a photogentic photo and some of her other kids in there Easter out fits. New Website update!!

OK so the new site is just about up and running. Still have a few things to fix and finish, but I am so excited and ready to make a change.

Last night I went and spoke with a local photographer that has been in the business 20+ years and has really made a name for herself and I got some really great ideas. She is going out of business and was so helpful to me. Her photos are just gorgeous and I felt honored that she even took time to speak with me. From our talk I realized that I really have to do things different when it comes to ordering and showing my photos. She told me that when she does a shoot she then brings the client back in one other time and sets them up in a room and shows them there photos on a projector. They then must order then. She said if you have your photos out there where they can look anytime they want and show everyone. Grandmas, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends then what is the need for them to buy a print. She said she just has them see the prints that day and order then when they leave they only have a vague memory of the print and cant wait to get it back and put up in there home. She said it also makes them appreciate her work a lot more! So with the unveil of my new website there will be a new way of showing my clients their proofs. There is no way I can bring everyone back and do a presentation of there photos so I have come up with something that I think will work for me and my business. I am going to have a locked proofing gallery where only who ever you give pswd to will be able to see your photos. Proofing galleries will only be opened for you to view for 7 days after that it is gone. If you have not placed order and want me to open gallery back up after them 7 days there will be $25 fee to reopen your gallery. I am not saying this is going to work in all cases and for everyone but I am going to try it and hopefully get more orders placed and more of my work out there on clients walls in their homes.

I am excited about the change that is about to happen!!

Her mother labored long and hard but in the end the reward was great!

BTW Babies are a JOB to photograph!! By the end of her session me and her mom were sweating and give out from rocking and patting and singing, lol, it was fun though and I think it was worth it. More photos to come soon!

New Camera

OK I am looking into getting me a new camera. I want a Canon because that is what I use now and am very comfortable with it. I am looking at a Canon 5D or Canon 5D Mark II. Also not sure what lens I want. I have a 85mm that I LOVE, but I want a wide angle lens that will be good for weddings. Any suggestions??

Ok just as my title says there are some changes that are about to happen here. I am currently working on a new website and blog. I plan to blog more when I get this up and running. I'm going to have sneak peeks and more about my photography world and also my personal family world. Me and my husband were laying in bed last night laughing about something our son said and we both said he is changing SOOOOO much. He is growing up so fast and I want to remember all these little things he does now that makes us laugh so my plan is to grab my camera more and snap of him and blog about his cute little self.

Working Moms

For those moms out there that work I have a question??!! Do you ever feel like you need to chose your job or your kids?? I work full time as an sales associate for an insurance company and I have the best boss in the world. My job is laid back, he does not pressure me (I think I put more pressure on myself sometimes), I love the people I deal with, and I love my job. I have always been one that DOES not take off work much. I just dont! Never really have. Yeah I am like everyone I dont want to get up in the mornings and go to work, I'm always late (another perk of my job boss really does not complain to much), but Im there! Well the other day my son got sick and I had no one that could stay home and watch him so I took off work. Called my boss and he was fine with it but then I started thinking well he has a meeting with Mrs. D @ 9:00, then Mr. B was supose to stop buy and I started thinking I should be at work and not home. I do this alot. Then there are the times that my mom stays home with my son & I go to work and I think I'm a bad mother I should be home with him. It is just so confusing I dont know what to do about this way of thinking. Im even like this with my husband he can be sicker than a dog and I have to call his boss and I'm afraid he is gonna lose his job that he really needs to make himself get up and go to work. His boss is also so good about when he needs to be off. I think it is just me!!! I believe I have a problem!! I think it is that I dont think that we are worthy enough and that we can be easily replaced and I dont (wait cant afford) either one of us to lose or jobs. Sometimes it is just hard being a mother and having a full time job!! Just to let everyone know I LOVE my son and I would love to be able to be a stay at home mom. It is just not in the cards for us right now. Thanks for listening to my rambles!!

And am I ready?? NOPE not yet!! But I am close very close. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas time. I love how my house looks and feels when all my Christmas decorations are up. I just LOVE Christmas time.

Ok so my little boy is 3 this year and is very excited about what Santa is going to bring him for Christmas. He asked for a trampoline so to save money on it I decided to go black friday shopping. I have never been and to be honest it was not bad at all. I got up at 1:00am and left the house at 2:00am. We had about a 1hr 1/2 drive. Got some really good deals to. Here are the main deals I got.

Got my little man a bike. $25 Reg $69!! Yay for me!!

Got him his trampoline!! $149.00 Reg $349.00 BTW it came with incloser!!!

I did these photos for Nathan a Senior this year. With all the rain we have had these few weeks these shots were not easy to get. I walked through water and mud and got eaten by bugs. Last week we had homecoming here and my little boy got to be the little Homecoming attendant. I was super proud of him. He did such a GREAT job. I was a little scared of how he would do being out there with everyone watching him but I could not have asked him to do any better than he did. Here are just a few photos. I have not managed to get them all off my camera yet. Opps I know bad momma!!

Not me Monday

Ok this is my 1st time to do the Not me Monday that MckMama started. Check her out at her blog http://www.mycharmingkids.net/.

First I did not get up Saturday morning after being sick with the stomach virus and decide that I NEEDED coffee. When I went to the kitchen to fix me some I did not discover that I was outta milk and creamer. So I did not go to the grocery store and allow my 3 year old to spend $40 on junk food just so he would hurry up so I could get home and have my coffee. When we got home I did not allow my 3 year old to also enjoy a cup of coffee. Nope not me!!

Also this weekend I did not watch Dirty Dancing 2xs and I would never allow my 3 year old to watch it with me. I did not find it very funny when my 3 year old boy was not watching Dirty Dancing that he was not trying to dance like them. (it was soooo funny)

This weekend I did not buy my husband a new flat screen TV. (his bday, anv, & christmas present) I also did not leave the old TV in the living room floor and then plug it up, so that I would not have to watch cartoons all day, when my son said he wanted to watch his Cars movie in the living room with us . Yep it is NOT still sitting in my living room floor today.

Ok so I am here but I have been SUPER SUPER BUSY!! I looks like I am gonna be that way for quite some time. OH me lets see what all yall have missed. Aug 15th went to FL for family vacation and my sister got married on the beach down there. It was a Blast and just BEAUTIFUL!!

Oh lets see whats next?? Oh yeah my little fella started PRESCHOOL!! OH MY cant believe it. Makes me want to cry and he has been in school a month now.

Also my sister-in-law has welcomed her new baby gril Bella Kate. I am Aunt Linnie AGAIN and I LOVE it!!!

Diaper cakes

I have been making diaper cakes for about 2 years now and I had an order for one last night. It is for a little girl and her colors are pink & brown. Everything on the cake can be used! I think they make a very unique gift. Need one just call or email.

Yeah I am soooooooooooo excited!! We get to go to the beach this summer. My sister is getting married and had set a date for December 12th, BUT she has decided she does not want a huge wedding here so we are off to the beach in FL. She will be getting married on August 15th and we are gonna leave here on Aug 12th that night about 11 or 12 so my little boy will sleep all the way there. I am ready to go today and so is Connor he keeps asking me everyday that we leave the house if we are going to the beach. I will be so happy when I can tell him YES!!

My little boy turned 3 on May the 24th but we did not have his bday party until this past weekend. He had a blast. We had a big water slide, a pool, slip-in-slide, swing set, and lots of riding toys. We did a Cars theme this year and I think it turned out PERFECT!!! Connor really had a blast. He loved that all his friends to to come to his house and play with him. He is finally at the age were he enjoys playing with friends.

Also I want to say a BIG thanks to Tiffany over at Piece of Cake she made Connor's cake and it was WONDERFUL!!! Everyone complemented on how it looked and also the taste. It was Perfect so thanks again Tiffany!

Rain Rain Go AWAY!!!

It is raining cats and dogs here today. If it doesn't stop I am going to have to boat to work!! It sure makes it hard for me to get my to do list done when it will not stop raining. My little Connor man turns 3 on May the 24th and we are having his bday party on the 30th at our house and I have soooooo many things I need to get done outside to get ready for it. I have photos to do for the next 2 weekends so I will be booked and I would like to start now working in the evenings when I get off work. OH well guess it will have to wait til last minute.
Well it is not like I don't have anything to do, I have a million PROM photos to finish. Hampton's Prom was Friday and I was asked Thursday if I would set up and do some photos for prom. Well I agreed and I had a pretty good turn out. Now I have to finish going through and editing a few of the photos. The moms are so excited that I get at least one call a day wondering if they are all completed. Be patient I am just about done!! I will post some when I get finished. Also the very next day I had an engagement shoot. OH so much left to do.

Yeah it is Friday!!!! I am sooo glad the weekend is here. I am thinking about taking my little Connor Man to the zoo this weekend. This is the only weekend for the next month that I will have free because I have photo shoots lined up. I am thinking about just spending it with my little fella and taking him to have some fun. I am thinking zoo then Chucky Cheese!! ( I LOVE that place)!!!

Anyone ever bid on Ebay. Man that site could be bad for me and my husband. You find something you want and you put in what your highest bid will be then you tell yourself I am not going a penny higher BUT the 1st time someone out bids you it just makes you MAD. So what do you do you out bid them. Then before you know your highest bid goes from $60.00 to $95.00 in a split 3 seconds!!! Then there you are HIGHEST BIDDER!! You are soooo excited you only have 1 min. 32 seconds left then someone out bids you with $96.00 so you go to bid again for the last time and what happens???? YOUR INTERNET HAS NO CONNECTION!! What how can this be you have spent so much time making sure you were the highest bidder then there it goes all down the drain because for the ONE and only minute that you need the internet it fails you. My internet has been fine ALL day long but for some reason during that 1 time I need it it is DOWN!! It only stayed down about 2 minutes NO LIE!! and it has worked fine since then. You know God has crazy ways of working things out and not letting us purchase things we do not need. I did not need to spend $95.00 on this one thing and he knew that. Look here I am higgest bidder on the same thing with higgest bid being $26.00!! ONLY 3 hrs and 41 mins left!! Hope I keep the lead!!!

New camera!!!

Well I broke down this weekend and bought a second camera. I bought a Nikon D40. I currently have a Canon but got this Nikon for a good deal and I think I am really really gonna like it. It is a little different than my Canon but I like some of the features of it. I just needed one in case something happened to mine and I think I made a good choice. I have not purchased any lense to go on it yet but that will be my next purchase.

Remember today is tax day!! yeah!!! I am soooo excited that I get to give some money away today!! NOT!! My husband is self employed so does anyone have any more deductions I can use?? Bye bye to my savings today!! lol

On a better note just got word from my mother that my cousin is a daddy again today. Marley Marie Duncan is in the world. Can't wait to go see her as soon as I get off work. Brady is a Big Bubba!!!
Got lots of babies that are going to be joining my family this year. Cousin Dawn is due in July, Sister in law Taylor is due in August, other cousin Brooke is due in December. Our family just keeps growing and growing!! So excited!!

First wedding Scheduled!!!

Yeah I am soooo excited!! I have scheduled my first wedding to photograph in June. I know I will prolly get alot of negative vibes from some photographers but you know everyone has to start somewhere. I have been doing a lot of shooting and reading and practicing here lately trying to learn all the ends and outs of everything. Some professionals say that I need to 2nd shoot and be doing it for a long time before I do my fist wedding by myself. I live in a very very SMALL town and people around here just can not afford nor will they pay $1000 or more to have their wedding photographed. Now don't get me wrong some will but for the most part people around here just will not. Instead they will get a family member or a friend to shoot their wedding. Well I am not a professional but I happen to have just a little bit more experience than Uncle Bubba does so what is the problem for me to help them out and give them some good photos and also in return they help me out and give me the practice. The wedding I will be shooting will be a small wedding at a small church. I have a friend that has also been doing some photography work and wants to go and 2nd shoot with me. I think between the two of us we will be able to get some good shots.
My husband's mother would always play a song titled " Aint nobody going to break my stride" before she passed away when she was down and out. Tina I am going to borrow your song and sing it to the top of my lungs!! AINT NOTBODY GONNA BREAK MY STRIDE!!!!!! I am going to have confidence and continue with what I believe I can do!!!!

For any new photographers GO for it!!! If any of my little knowledge will help I will sure offer it up to you. I believe we can ALL help each other!!!

Finally got the camera in Connor's face this weekend. I have been so bad about not getting him out and taking his photo. He is getting to where when I pulled the camera out of the bag he would hide his face. But I got him this weekend. I took him out in the field by our house and shoot and few. I bought a new lens and decided what better subject to practice on than him. Also we went to my mothers house and they got the bubbles out so I thought hey another good chance to practice.
Gosh I just love this boy sooooo much and he is just growing up soooooo fast that it scares me at times. He is doing something new everyday that just amazes me. Like this morning I fixed him a bowl of cereal and he said "Momma bow your head like this" and he bowed his head and said his prayer. I was so amazed by him. My dad is a preacher and has just gotten his first Church. It is a small church in Woodberry but we have been working on building it up. When daddy 1st took over the church it was maybe an average of 8 or 9 people there every Sunday. He has been there less than a month and last Sunday we have 49 and enough kids to have Childrens Church. Me and mom are doing the Childrens Church and just in the past 3 weeks Connor has already caught on to saying a prayer before he eats. I called my dad and told him that somethings we are teaching them are really sticking. We are sooo excited about what all is to come within this little Church.

Ok so I guess everyone has heard the rumors going around about a gang initiation going on at Walmart. I read on Arkansas Matters this morning that they are saying that this is not true. That it is just rumors and that these same rumors went around in 2005. Ok so maybe it is a rumor but it still kinda scares you. WHAT IF!! Just what if it were not a rumor and it was true. It is just so scary. I wish that there was some way they could trace who started this. You know it might seem funny to someone to get the whole world scared to even leave their home BUT that is just MEAN and whom ever started this should be punished. They have just given someone an idea. Someone that would have never thought to do this an IDEA!!! It is WRONG!!!!!

Well the sun was out the other day and we stayed outside ALL afternoon. Connor rode his dirt bike until the battery went dead then he rode in his truck. We even went out to the barn and Connor tried to ride the dog. Poor ol Junior.

I love Spring time weather and can not wait for some weekends to be like this so we can stay outside ALL day long.

Please pray for my little fella. He had the stomach virus about 3 weeks ago and was very very sick with it. Well every since he was sick with it he has just been weak and different. He has still thrown up a few times and there is no ryme or reason to why. He is not doing it at any certain time of the day or after he eats a certain thing so I took him to the doctor yesterday and he has checked his blood and is sending him for an ultrasound on his stomach. They called this morning and said that his blood test came back and his white blood levels are high BUT it could be from the virus he has had. He wants us to come back in a month to do lab work again. He said he will know more after the ultrasound on Thursday of next week. He said he did not feel like it was anything to serious but still wants to be certain. It is hard to tell a mother not to worry about thier child. Please just keep him in your prayers.

I am soooooo over the rain and cold days. I am ready for some spring weather and for the sun to come on out!! Poor Connor is just itching to get outside on his dirtbike. He has not got to ride it much since he got it for Christmas. It has been to cold, raining, or we have been gone. Never works out so he can ride.

I do see the sun is starting to creep its way on out here. COME ON SUN!!!

Ok so I am back again. I have just been sooooooo busy. It seems like everyone is wanting some photogenic photos done. Which is fine with me!! It has just left me sooo busy!! Ok I am going to update some of the work I have been working on for the past month. Also I just got my new lens in yesterday and I am sooo ready for the weather to get better so I can get outside and get to practicing with it!!!

Hello Blog world. I know I have not blogged in like 4 months. So much has been going on and I still have not gotten the hang of blogging. I am working on it though because I think it is good for me to vent!! Lets see I missed blogging on Thanksgiving which we did not have much of a Thanksgiving. My sister in law was in the hospital with pancertitus (SP??) and her kidney's were shutting down. All is well now she is doing much much better. Here she is:

Ok what else have we missed oh yeah CHRISTMAS!! I just love Christmas time. Connor really liked Santa this year!

And he had a great time opening up Christmas presents. He liked everything even the clothes.

But what he really liked was his DIRT BIKE!! and yes it is fast it goes 14mph. And NO I can not run that fast.... But he is really good at driving it.

The New Year has kept me pretty busy!! I have been going and helping with my sister-in-law at her pageants, took Connor to the MotoCross Races, we have had birthday parties, sick kids, and even taking a few photos. It has turned out to be a busy busy year already and it has only began. I am sooo glad that the weather has been pretty outside it helps get me motivated to get out and LIVE!! It seems like when it is cold out and gets dark so fast that you don't have a life. That all we do is get up, go to work, and come home and got to bed, then start over the next day. I will be glad when we can come home and it stays light out for awhile.

Well I am making a late new years resolution that I am going to try to start blogging more!! I guess resolutions are better LATE than NEVER!! Until next time!!

Well we got everyone together to take some family photos Saturday. We had 2 that had the stomach virus, a few that were late, and one that wanted to be a momma's boy (yeah that one was mine)!!! We had a good time getting together to take some photos. I really enjoyed the practice also. We took photos at 10:30 am which it is WAY TO SUNNY at the time, but we had to do what we had to do because that was the only time that all of us could get together. Here are a few photos. Oh yes and helpful criticism is very welcome.

First we went out into my future brother-in-laws field and took some photos then we all went to the park. Everyone seemed to have a goodtime.

Connor is at my parents house tonight. I went over there earlier and this is what they were doing!!

My father owns a motorcycle shop so my son has grown up on motorcycles since day one. He just loves to ride. It is so funny to watch them, they are racing and every time my mother tries to pass Connor and Papaw, Connor will give it more gas and pass her!! :) He is so smart and he will be driving a motorcycle by him self in no time. My father has already got him his own dirt bike and Connor knows that it is his. My daddy said that he is going to put training wheels on Connor's dirt bike and govern it down so that it will not go to fast. I will need a couple of nerve pills by the time Connor is 16.

Accident

I am on my way to work this morning and my aunt calles me to tell me that my brother-in-law just had an accident in town. I was coming right up on it when she called. Luckly he was not hurt to bad, just a little sore from the impact. I have his insurance so the first thing he ask me was do I have good insurance? Of course I told him yes!! I could tell he was really shaken up by it because he has always worked so hard for everything he has and he was so proud of his truck. It made me feel really bad for him. He has got to be one of the hardest working guys I know. I told him that accidents happen and that is why he has insurance. We could fix his truck just as long as he was ok. Yeah I am so glad it is Friday and I am ready to go pick up my little man!!! He has not been feeling well today (Just his allergies). He has cried for his momma. It just breaks my heart for him to be sick and for him to cry for me and I can't go get him. The babysitter said he has not been running fever that you can just tell he doesn't feel good. You know we all have them days where we just don't feel good. I think I am having them more and more often. BUT I am going to snap out of them!!! It is getting colder and the Holiday's are coming. I love this time of the year! This year for Christmas I am giving picts to everyone. For my husbands grandmother this year for Christmas all she wants is picts of all her grands. So I have called all the out of towners and we have set up Oct 25th as of now to do some photos. I told them I want to do a group shot of everyone then everyones own family shot. Then I would just love to do some shots of everyone just having a good time together. Like my husband helping Connor slide at the park, all the kids playing together, just some happy shots. This family has been through so much heartache through there lives and I want to be able to capture that happy moment so that everyone will have that to cherish the rest of their lives. I plan on having her these shots framed and matted for Christmas. I am so excited about this shoot. I am just using any possible chance I get to learn about photography and practice taking photos.

Sore throat!!! Yuck

I have not been feeling well these past couple of days. About 2 days ago my throat started hurting... so I went to the doctor today and she said I have Acute Tonsillitis. Needles to say I have a sore throat. My tonsils were HUGE and red. She put me on meds and maybe I will be 100% in a couple of days.

Well go ahead and tell me I am crazy before I even say anything. I got Connor a new puppy. Connor just loves him and Moe (the puppy) just loves Connor. Connor stayed with my mother last night and Moe whimpered all night. When I woke up this morning he was in Connor's room. It was so sweet. He goes around looking for him and when Connor gets home he goes crazy.

Well we took Connor to the fair last night. He loved it!!! His fav ride was the motorcycles. Imagin that! He was so funny when it stopped he said "momma I ride again?". When he does things like that I realize just how big he is getting. He understands to ask me if he can go again. Some days I think I can't wait till he starts Kindergarden and other days it makes me so sad seeing how big he has gotten. I was looking through some old disc yesterday and there were some photos on there from when he was born. He has changed so much!! I just had to take a brake from typing this because Connor need to go poopoo in the potty on the way in there he said "I not poopoo in my pants NO more". Man is he so smart!!!

Well it is fair week in Hampton this week!!! I guess we will take Connor to the fair tonight and then take him to the ballgame Friday night!! All he wants to do is ride the dirt bike. I have got me a motorcross rider on my hands. I put my little niece in the pageant Tuesday night and she WON!!!! Go Ava Cole!!!! Her and her Linnie make a great team!!
